We, the founders of Gato Gordo Gallery, are passionate cat lovers and share our lives with a number of feline companions. We believe cats embody a spirit of curiosity, elegance, and mysteryâqualities often found in great art. The name âGato Gordo,â meaning âFat Catâ in Spanish, was inspired by our love for cats and the way well-fed, content cats naturally invite affection.
Fat cats, in particular, are often irresistibly cuddly and exude a peaceful, laid-back charm that makes you want to reach out and pet them. Much like these tender creatures, the Gato Gordo Gallery aims to create an environment thatâs warm, welcoming, and filled with art that draws people inâsparking joy and the desire to linger and connect.
Just as a âgordo gatoâ captures our hearts with its lovable roundness, this gallery captures the imagination with its thoughtful collection of artworks that inspire comfort and delight.
